Policies

By becoming a member of Goose Lane Egg Farm’s CSA Program, I agree to the following terms:  

Produce CSA  

-I understand that GLEF makes no explicit guarantees of specific items, size, and that I will receive different items from week to week in my share.  

-If I am unable to pick-up my share due to vacation or other circumstances, I am able to do one of the following: Have someone else pickup my share for me, donate my share to the food bank, or skip my share for that week and pickup double the following or previous week-advance notice required.  

-If you have not made prior arrangements for someone to pick up for you, any unclaimed shares will then be donated to Food Bank. Please note that once the pick-up week is over, pick-up is over. We harvested for you, it is your responsibility to be there to pick it up. We are not able to hold food for you to pick-up at a later time or day, due to quality and freshness. 

-I understand that the weather is out of GLEF’s control and shares may reflect that due to weather extremes.  

-In the rare case of a total crop failure we may supplement with locally grown items.                                                                                                                                                          

General Farm Rules 

-You are welcome to visit any outdoor farm animals, but be aware that the fences are electrified.  We urge you to use caution when petting and please do not chase the fowl.  Please do not enter the fenced pasture, or pet the Livestock Guardian Dogs.

-Children must be supervised at all times on the farm.  We strive to make GLEF as family friendly as possible, but it is a working farm, with all the risks that entails.  At no time should children be in the barn, greenhouses or other farm buildings.  

By signing up, I acknowledge that I have read, and agree to the above terms of becoming a CSA member. I am also confirming my understanding that all CSA memberships are a season-long commitment and are therefore non-refundable.
